At Qazi Law, we know that immigration is so much more than filling out tedious forms. We recognize the hopes and dreams that are packaged within those forms, and we advocate aggressively for you to accomplish those goals.

Whether you want to visit family members in the United States or find employment here, we will help you navigate the complex immigration system. We work tirelessly to ensure that each document is prepared thoroughly and flawlessly so that there aren’t any unnecessary delays. Sometimes, a small mistake can lead to outright rejection. We are here to guarantee that doesn’t happen.

As the daughter of immigrants, your story is mine as well. I know the heart and soul that goes into the desire to immigrate to another country. As such, my firm offers you personalized attention to detail, assertive advocacy and a thorough understanding of the law.

Immigration Services We Offer

Those who leave their countries to escape persecution are among the bravest people we know. Attorney Farrah has a special connection to asylum cases since many of her family members sought asylum in the United States as well. We will prepare either an affirmative packet or a defensive strategy to defend you in court.

The Violence Against Women Act provides you an opportunity to adjust your status inside the United States even if you enter without an inspection. This is possible if you are married to a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident. You may also qualify for VAWA if you have a child who is a US citizen and is 21 years and older. In a VAWA case, you must be able to prove that there are problems with your marriage such as abuse.

I firmly believe that representing immigrants facing deportation from the United States is a form of advocating for human rights. This type of case involves appearing in immigration court and ultimately facing an immigration judge, which can be overwhelming and nerve-wracking if you are not represented by a good immigration lawyer. This is why I am here as an immigration lawyer and human rights advocate to stand and fight for you with the best strategies and action plans.

If you have been exploited in your workplace or promised a different wage than what you are receiving, you may qualify for a T visa. In case your working condition is causing you mental or physical abuse due to being treated poorly based on your race or immigration status, it’s about time you apply for a T Visa though our firm.

Availing U Visa is possible if you qualify in the following criteria:

1. You are a victim of qualifying criminal activity.

2. You have suffered substantial physical or mental abuse as a result of being a victim of a criminal activity.

3. You have information about a criminal activity. In case you are under the age of 16 or unable to provide information due to a disability, a parent, guardian, or next friend who may possess information about the crime can speak on your behalf.

4. You are likely to become helpful to law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of the crime. If you are under the age of 16 or unable to provide information due to a disability, your parent/s, guardian, or next friend may assist law enforcement on your behalf.

5. The crime occurred in the United States or violated U.S. laws.

6. You are admissible to the United States. If you are not admissible, you may apply for a waiver on a Form I-192 or the Application for Advance Permission to Enter as a Nonimmigrant.

Family-based petitions let you obtain legal status with the help of either your spouse, child, sibling or parent/s who is either a citizen or a lawful permanent resident in the US. In case your best person who was supposed to help you in your petition refuses to file your papers for you, there are options we can look at to further your chances of getting your legal status in the US.

This visa is usually awarded to immigrants who have successfully obtained another qualifying visa to stay in the US. Most of my clients come to me to help gain a work visa. As an immigrant myself, I know how important it is to have a work visa in a huge country that is never lacking with amazing opportunities and talents. I will make sure you will get access to a better life for you and your family by helping you obtain your work visa even if you may think it is not possible!

This permit allows you to work in the US even without having a green card. They usually come together with other visa approvals but of course, your eligibility for a case still depends on your situation. This is where I can help you best. Many of my clients thought they could never have a work permit and now they do! It is very important to discuss your options.
Qazi Law can assist you in your Naturalization Process. This enables a person who was not born in the US to enter a process that will make them become a U.S. citizen voluntarily. This process can get complicated and requires a lot of process so it is always best to seek the help of an immigration lawyer.

This document will help you prove your citizenship even if you were born outside the United States to U.S. citizen parents. This is not a paper that can easily grant you your citizenship. It is always best to seek legal advice from an immigration lawyer if you can qualify for this. In this aspect, I will also guide you through the process, what are the Dos and Don’ts while waiting for your papers, and so on to make sure everything will be processed correctly and smoothly for you and your family.

If you have been deported from the U.S., we can take a look at other options that may be available for your or your family members such as your child. There are times where one can process their papers without even leaving their home country. It will always be best to consult an immigration lawyer via Zoom or phone for these matters. I understand that these types of cases are very difficult to process so I will make sure to help you how to best assess the situation with genuine concern and understanding.

What many do not know is that an immigration lawyer can help you in attaining a social security number despite being undocumented. A social security number (SSN) is one’s first and continuous connection with the US Social Security. It will help you identify accurately and create a record of your self-employment earnings and covered wages throughout your work history during your stay or residency in the US. We will help you prepare for the paperwork right away once you are ready the same day! This way, we can be sure your SSN will soon be here without you having to go back and forth just to file the papers you need.

The USCIS regularly revises their guidelines that determine whether or not a case is eligible for expedited handling. To stay informed about any new regulations and be fully prepared for the process, it is beneficial to seek assistance from a specialized immigration firm.

Although anyone can request expedited processing, each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis and the backlog continues to increase. Our team can assist you in ensuring that your expedite request satisfies USCIS’s established criteria. These criteria comprise:

  • Severe financial loss to a company or person:  Your absence may cause fiscal hardship to certain individuals, other employees, or a company.
  • Emergencies and urgent humanitarian reasons: Examples may include, but are not limited to, illness, disability, extreme living conditions, death in the family, or a critical need to travel to obtain medical treatment in a limited amount of time.
  • Nonprofit organization that makes a request to advance the cultural or social interests of the United States.
  • U.S. Government Interests: You possess knowledge that could aid U.S. national interests, government interests, or public safety.

Individuals seeking permanent residency in the United States are required to submit a certified USCIS translation of their birth certificate along with a signed letter from a USCIS-certified translation company swearing that it has been handled by a qualified translator.

Failing to submit a certified translation of your birth certificate may result in a delay or even an out-and-out rejection of your immigration application. Moreover, your birth certificate translation should include the following:

  • Your full name
  • Your date of birth
  • Your place of birth
  • Both of your parents’ full names
  • The issuing agency’s official seal that verifies that the translation was handled by a certified office

We can translate birth certificates from Spanish, Urdu, and Pashto to English.  Schedule a virtual consultation with us today to get a certified translation fast.

AOS can be used to let you stay in the US while you are waiting for your green card application even after your visa expires. This kind of process involves checking all your papers and of course, we can also assist you with your green card application! Here in my firm, I make sure that my clients will not have to go to another place just to work on their immigration needs.

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is here to help you protect a child or youth immigrant who arrived in the US when they were children from deportation. DACA helps young undocumented immigrants from being deported, access work permit, and is subject to renewal after two (2) years. I am here to let you know whether it is possible to avail this process and what are the best action plans we can formulate to achieve the approval.

As an advocate for human rights, I am extremely sensitive and dedicated in handling cases that involve political or religious persecution for this issue is very close to my heart. Here at Qazi Law Offices, I make sure that my team shares my belief that everyone deserves to be represented properly and equally, even if they are not yet a citizen of the US.

Do you have a family member or a good friend who has been detained for unlawful entry or other reasons? Then you have come to the right place. I will surely pour out my dedication and hardwork to handle your case with my expertise, determination, passion, and genuine concern. I acknowledge the emotions and stress involved in the situation and these are what helps me in reclaiming freedom for my clients that fall under this category.

This visa is provided to someone who is currently residing in the US, in need of protection of a juvenile court due to abuse, abandonment or neglect by a parent or parents. This type of visa is also a gateway to qualify for lawful permanent residency a.k.a a Green Card. This type of case is sensitive on so many levels. As a mother of teenage boys and a little girl, I know how scary it is to have a juvenile face a situation that is both dangerous and delicate. As a human rights lawyer, I know how to properly manage the steam of emotions that is involved in cases like this one. You can rest assured that the juvenile involved is in good hands because he/she has a lawyer, a human rights advocate, a friend, and a mother-figure in one- for I who know exactly what to do and how to explain such a situation to a young person.

Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) will help every immigrant in making sure they are paying their taxes while waiting for their documents for approval. And yes! Even if undocumented, my firm will be able to help you apply and obtain an ITIN.

Are you someone with extraordinary abilities or talents in the fields of: sciences, arts, business, athletics, education, Television or Movie industry? Have you been recognized globally for your work? Then you might be eligible for applying for an O Visa! I am living my American dream together with my family and my amazing team. Now, let me help you reach your American Dream through legal processes courtesy of immigration law!

Unbeknownst to the public, there have been instances where parents of minor children have been arrested without any prior notice by immigration. This is a very problematic topic that we at Qazi Law Offices would like to be of great support. As a parent myself, it is heartbreaking to imagine that there are children who come home from school and find out they are left alone without knowing where and when they will be able to see their parents again.

If you believe that your kids deserve to be with your most trusted friends or families with legal papers here in the US rather than the foster care system, then it is about time you craft a Guardianship for Minor Children for your kids together with me, who is also an immigrant and a mother of 4.

Having a Power of Attorney is helpful in securing your assets in case you will be deported without any prior notice from immigration. This is also relevant for if you’re someone who has already invested in properties, businesses, and other financial assets in the US and want to make sure all of these will be taken care of by a person you trust the most in case of unforeseen circumstances. We all work hard for all the things we have and I understand how important it is to be prepared for it is not only for our wellbeing but most importantly of our children, too.

There are many jobs in the US that require the ability to drive and unless one has the right license to do it, it will be difficult especially for an undocumented immigrant to accept a job offer. This is why I included this service of assisting our undocumented clients in acquiring their very own driver’s license. This is my goal for my firm: to help my immigrant clients get exactly what they need in one place from a lawyer who cares about their wellbeing and dreams and not their money!

Do you want to study in the US but do not know where to start? A student visa may seem easy to acquire but it is better to see your options if an immigration lawyer will help you understand how it works, know its limitations, and how you can maximize your chances of getting one.

With detailed checklists and consistent service throughout the process, we make passport application and renewal easy for you.

  • Passport Renewals
  • Processing of N648 Medical form for Disability
